On Tuesday 26th October, Andy and Dessie from ‘The Somme Group’ came in and did a wonderful presentation about the war for the children.
They brought a fabulous variety of artefacts relating to the Second World War and allowed the children opportunities to handle objects which they have been learning about over the past number of weeks. This was a perfect finish to our topic and the children had such a fantastic experience.
A huge thank you to the two gentlemen for giving of their time so generously and for sharing their expertise with the children.
