Our mini Literacy topic this week has been looking at Remembrance Day through its history and through one of the most well-known wartime poems ‘The Fallen’ by Laurence Binyon. Everyone was so interested to learn there was so much more to the words we recognise so well. We also created some of our own poems and collaborated to make a very special wreath from our own class.
