There was great excitement when we arrived at Springhill House. We were able to dress in Victorian costume and play with wooden toys. A tour around Springhill House was next where we heard about little boys who had to climb up the chimneys to clean them. Miss Wallop who resided at the School House checked our hands for cleanliness and was very cross. We had time for lunch and then it was home time. A great day was had by all.
