Outdoor learning in P1/2

17th May 2024

The children worked really hard in their teams to create a nest. They had great fun using the pegs as beaks to gather sticks and grass. Then they were learning about turn taking and were able to take turns to gather ‘worms’ (pink wool) to feed the chicks. To finish with the children took their shoes and socks off to feel the grass and think about what it would be like for the birds in the nest. Then they closed their eyes and listened to the birds singing and chirping all around them. They had a lovely time ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿชน๐Ÿชฑโ˜€๏ธ
