There was great excitement as the community gathered at the Christmas Tree 🌲. Following the count down, Reverend Timothy and Anna switched the lights on 🎄.
A special visitor arrived in style and everyone made their way to the Community Hall. The hall was decorated with all the beautiful paintings created by the pupils from Newmills Primary School. After Santa gave out selection boxes to the children the winners of the annual Newmills Cultural Group painting competition were presented with their prizes.
Our sincere thanks must go to the Newmills Cultural Group for their continued support and generosity.
The winners were P1 Annie, P2 Eli, P3 David, P4 Harry, P5 Katie, P6 Jacob and P7 Mia.
