In literacy we have been looking at the story ‘Blown Away’ which is all about a penguin and his friends who fly a kite and get blown away to a tropical island, far away from home. The children really loved this story and wanted to make their own kites. Today was the day they have been waiting for when they finally got out to fly the kites. Thankfully no children were blown away! It was such a fun afternoon made all the more special with the children singing ‘let’s go fly a kite’ as they ran around in the sunshine ☀️🪁🙂
