On Thursday the P4, P5, P6 and P7 classes enjoyed a visit from environmental educator Sandra Currie. Sandra spoke about the importance of pollinators and we can encourage them in our school and gardens at home.
Also on Thursday we had Andy and Nicola come to help us with the next stage of our bug hotel. We received so many contributions of various items to help fill the different ‘rooms’ in the hotel. P4 and P5 added the materials to the hotel while P6 and P7 helped with developing the paths.
We all had a very busy morning but all agree that our garden looks fabulous. A huge thanks to Sandra, Nicola and Andy.
